Dilara – the pride of SEAL Kennel
Dilara is a medium-sized pit bull in true terrier type. Her father comes from Brazil, and her mother from the USA. She has an extraordinary athletic appearance and excellent anatomy that perfectly fits the ADBA format, while still preserving a solid and strong build. Her structure makes her a valuable contender in conformation shows of all levels – a fact already proven, as she has repeatedly won in Italy and even holds the title of Champion of Italy!
As for Ukraine, during the war that has been ongoing since 2022, the number of shows has been very limited. However, in 2024 we participated in every possible event, and Dilara became the absolute female champion in the pit bull terrier breed at all 5 shows we managed to attend! I am so proud of my girl!
But Dilara is not only captivating in her appearance as a true red nose pit bull, she is also a highly valuable breeding female who perfectly complements the bloodlines of our kennel.
Acquiring her was a well-thought-out decision, carefully calculated as part of our multi-generational breeding plans. We are happy to welcome Dilara, who is closely related as a niece to our beautiful Gotck’s Delta Velorum, imported from the USA.
Dilara also has a strong food and play drive. Her favorite activity is running on the mechanical treadmill – and she does it without any toys or motivational tools! In fact, we sometimes have to limit her, as she doesn’t know when to stop. Her second favorite passion is playing with the flirt pole.
Another great bonus is that Dilara is very comfortable around other animals and shows no dog aggression. Of course, this is not only her natural temperament, but also the result of consistent training and correct handling from the people around her.

How Did Dilara Come to Us?
Starting to write this section, I want to express my joy at having the opportunity to personally see many of this beauty's ancestors. However, every time I look at photos of her great-grandparents, I feel a sense of sadness, realizing that I will never be able to see these dogs in person, as they are far away in the USA and Brazil, so distant from me.
It makes sense to begin this section with Dilara’s parents. After the Pitbull show in Naples, where I was invited as a judge, I had the opportunity to visit several kennels. I didn’t waste any time and quickly went to inspect the kennels, and soon after, I eagerly purchased tickets to Bologna. There, I was supposed to pick up Gotcks Bellatrix and visit the wonderful people, Antonella and Diego.
The first dog I met was Del Manto Tex-Mex, who is Dilara’s father and who opened the world of Brazilian bloodlines to me.
Indeed, he was the first one I met upon arriving in Bologna. When I entered the kennel's exercise area, I was greeted by a large dog with amber eyes and a big head. Tex didn’t understand English, but that didn’t prevent me from quickly finding common ground with him. He was a very friendly dog to strangers, eager to make contact and expecting to be rewarded with either food or a ball as quickly as possible. A solid, muscular Pitbull with very unique eyes, Tex had a remarkable presence. I already knew Tex from my research online, and I had brought his daughter, Lisan, two years earlier. But meeting him in person was an entirely different experience.
Next, I want to tell you about Dilara’s mother, Gotcks Hydry, who is the full sister of my Gotcks Delta Velorum. Having Delta at home, I already had a deep affection for Hydry, as Gotcks dogs have long held a special place in my heart due to their balanced temperament, social nature, lack of aggressive tendencies towards other animals, and, most importantly, their appearance, which I find visually appealing. After meeting Hydry in person, I realized she was a bit taller and more terrier-like than Delta, but in every other way, she completely met my expectations. Meeting Dilara’s parents gave me the confidence that I was making all the right decisions.

Del Manto Arthas is one of the most titled pit bull terriers in Brazil. It's difficult to fully recount all of his victories throughout his career even now.
Of course, it would be great to have a complete chronicle of his career, but tracing everything is challenging and requires a lot of time.
Whenever possible, I will make sure to gather all the information because the memory of dogs shouldn't be limited to just beautiful photos.

When looking for information about your ancestors, you especially appreciate direct quotes from the owners or people close to them, because they allow you to form a more complete impression of the situation. On the Internet, I found a direct quote from Landa's owner: “Legend, created by a friend of mine, Jorge Silveira, will soon contribute to our breeding program. A bitch of excellent conformation and with a well-balanced pedigree between traditional lines with dogs like Frisco, Mayday, etc...
